Roll out the barrel of laughs! Al Murray, or the Pub Landlord, visited Camp Bastion in Afghanistan at the end of April to meet the troops and provide some light relief during two live stand-up comedy sets. His mission (that he chose to accept) was called Operation LOCK-IN, with further entertainment provided by Matthew ‘Maff’ Brown, and musicians, Sinead Quinn and Brooke Supple. The entertainers met as many uniformed personnel as possible in a bid to boost morale, reminding them that the home fires are still burning in the UK.
